About Us

Kobodi was founded in July 2021 by Gracia Anggraini. Gracia has been a physiotherapist for over 10 years working in a range of community and private settings in the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne. 

Wanting to offer her clients a more holistic and integrated approach to health, she decided to create Kobodi. A holistic and interdisciplinary approach to health and wellness in a warm and calm healing space.  

Gracia is a Balwyn North local, having grown up in the area, she attended both Balwyn Primary School and Balwyn High School. Together with a collective of like-minded, caring and AHPRA registered practitioners, Gracia and the Kobodi team are proud to serve the Balwyn North, Balwyn, Kew, Doncaster and surrounding community to better health and wellness.

Gracia Anggraini

Founder | physiotherapist | Clinical pilates practitioner

B.Physio (Hons), APAM

Gracia strongly believes in using a combination of hands-on treatment and exercise (especially Clinical Pilates) in achieving optimal function for her clients. She also ensures to identify the contributing factors such as lifestyle, environmental factors and posture in order to effectively treat a range of musculoskeletal conditions. Gracia has particular interest in chronic pain and injury, headaches and migraines as well as pre and post natal care. 

Outside of her clinical work, Gracia enjoys spending time with her golden labrador as well as keeping active with HIIT, strength training, pilates and yoga. She’s a keen hiker and loves to travel to new destinations. Her favourite hike of all time is a sunrise hike to the top of Gunlom Falls in the Northern Territory. 

Gracia is a registered Physiotherapist under the Australian Health Practitioners Regulations Agency (AHPRA) as well as a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association. She is fully qualified and trained Clinical Pilates Instructor through Dance Medicine Australia.

Katharine Ng

Physiotherapist | Pilates Instructor | Oncology rehabiliTation specialist

B.Physio, APAM

Katharine has over 10 years experience working as a physiotherapist in both private practice and hospital settings. She is passionate about advocating for her clients, particularly to assist in achieving their physical health goals. She incorporates a combination of both clinical exercise and hands on/manual therapy treatment techniques to manage her clients. 
She is a registered Physiotherapist under the Australian Health Practitioners Regulations Agency (AHPRA) as well as a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association. Katharine is a qualified Clinical Pilates Instructor and has experience managing a wide range of musculoskeletal and orthopaedic conditions including pre and post-surgical rehabilitation, sports related injuries and oncology rehabilitation. Katharine has completed postgraduate qualifications in Oncology Rehabilitation and is currently undertaking further studies to become a Lymphoedema Practitioner. 
Outside of her clinical work, Katharine enjoys dancing (Ballet) which is how her passion for movement began. She also enjoys being outdoors and exploring new hiking locations in Victoria. 
Katharine can provide the following services:

Geng Hao Zheng

Doctor of Physiotherapy, B.BMed (Neuroscience) / M.AppSci (Chinese Herbal Medicine), APAM & AACMA

Geng is a skilled and passionate physiotherapist with clinical experience in various settings, including neurological rehabilitation, geriatrics, orthopaedics, hospital in the home (HITH), aged care, medical centres and private practices.

After graduating with a Doctor of Physiotherapy degree, Geng pursued further training in Chinese Medicine. He is a registered Physiotherapist and a Chinese Medicine Practitioner under the Australian Health Practitioners Regulations Agency (AHPRA).

By combining his expertise in physiotherapy and Chinese Medicine, Geng
provides unique treatment options for his patients.

As a member of several professional associations, including the Australian Physiotherapy Association, Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association, and Australian Society of Acupuncture Physiotherapists, Geng is dedicated to staying up-to-date with the latest developments in his field.

Outside of his clinical work, Geng enjoys building LEGO mocs, playing the piano, and reading Chinese medicine classics and practicing medications.

Geng treats or helps to manage conditions such as:

  • Acute and chronic pain (including knee osteoarthritis, shoulder and neck pain, and low back pain)
  • Dizziness, vertigo, headaches
  • Postural related pain
  • Aged-care physiotherapy (including fall prevention and mobility practice)
  • Rehabilitation after surgery (aiming to manage post-surgical pain and restore walking and activities of daily living).

Geng is fluent in English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Hakka, and Teochew.

Candys Chandra

Physiotherapist & Clinical pilates instructor

B.AppSci | M.Physio, APAM

Candys has a passion for health & wellbeing and has a keen interest in chronic pain and rehabilitation. She is passionate about utilising her skills in hands on physiotherapy and exercise rehabilitation to help her clients reach their full potential and return to activities that they enjoy. Working with her patients to prevent injury and achieve optimal health outcomes is Candys’ main goal.

Candys has obtained her Master of Physiotherapy from Latrobe University. She is a registered physiotherapist under the Australian Health Practitioners Regulations Agency (AHPRA) and is a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association.

Outside of work, Candys enjoys spending time actively with her cavoodle as well as leisure activities with her friends, and having a fond interest for multicultural cuisines. She also enjoys spending time training at the gym and playing basketball recreationally.

Throughout the years of her study and work, Candys has gained a variety of clinical experience in the areas of musculoskeletal, neurological, cardiorespiratory, gerontology, orthopaedic and hydrotherapy across Melbourne’s major hospitals, aged care and outpatient settings.

Hanh-Nhi Huynh

Physiotherapist | Pilates instructor

B.Physio (Hons), APAM

Hanh-Nhi is a highly experienced physiotherapist with a diverse background in various healthcare settings. She has a strong academic foundation, having graduated from Balwyn High School in 2008 and obtained her Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) from the University of Melbourne in 2012.

Throughout her education and career, Hanh-Nhi has honed her skills in musculoskeletal joint mobilisation, soft tissue therapy, electrotherapy, dry needling, and exercise prescription. Her extensive clinical experience includes working at  the Austin Physiotherapy Outpatients Department, Austin Emergency Department, Royal Talbot Rehabilitation Hospital, Heidelberg Repatriation Hospital, and Shepparton Goulburn Valley Health Paediatrics Department.

One of Hanh-Nhi’s key strengths lies in her collaboration with Orthopaedic Surgeons to facilitate optimal outcomes for patients recovering from surgeries like joint replacements and soft tissue repairs. She is also adept at designing and implementing Clinical Rehabilitation Exercises, Falls & Balance programs, and providing in-home care consultations, demonstrating her holistic approach to patient care.

In addition to her professional achievements, Hanh-Nhi finds joy in spending quality time with her family. She cherishes moments with her son and husband, savoring the simple pleasures of family life. Beyond her clinical endeavors, she also nurtures her passion for exploration and discovery through travel during her spare time.

Dr Yukyung Song 

Acupuncturist | Osteopath

BHlthSc / BAppSc (Osteo) / MAppSc (Acu), MOA & AACMA

Yukyung believes in the combination of hands-on treatment and seeing body movement with a holistic approach as the key to bringing optimal results to relieve your complaint. Her priority is always to find the root cause of your symptom and its causing factors, not only focusing on your current symptom. She has particular interests in migraines and injuries arising from a range of sports, including martial arts, football, running, cycling, swimming, and gymnastics.

Yukyung loves teaching Taekwondo while she is not treating patients. She has been doing Taekwondo for more than 20 years and has also been appointed as a coach for the Australian Taekwondo national team since 2016. With her wealth of knowledge in Osteopathy, Acupuncture and sports coaching experience in all levels, she finds out the best treatments and advice for each of her patients.

Yukyung is a registered acupuncturist and osteopath under the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), as well as a member of Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine, and Osteopathy Australia.
Yukyung treats or helps to manage conditions such as:
  • Pain management including sports injuries and accident rehabilitation

  • Digestive system and gut health
  • Skin conditions
  • Hayfever, sinusitis, coughing

Rubie Anne Jucutan

Remedial massage therapist

Rubie has just moved back to Melbourne over a year  ago from Brisbane. She had been a massage therapist for 18 years and a remedial therapist for 10 years. She has mostly worked in the spa and wellness industry. She has strong interests in promoting recovery,  help maintain mobility and optimise muscle function through range of therapeutic massage techniques to help someone adjust to lifestyle changes.
In her free time, Rubie loves to travel and explore nature through hikes and discovering new places. She has lived in the Caribbean for years before settling in Perth and had spent few seasons in the ski resort in Regional Victoria.

Janice Yip

Acupuncturist | dietitian

BNutriDiet / MAppSci (Acu), APD & AACMA

Janice is a Registered Acupuncturist and an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD).
She graduated from Master of Applied Science (Acupuncture) at RMIT University and holds a Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics from Monash University.
She has previously worked as a dietitian at various Healthscope hospitals and rehabilitation centre and currently provides dietetic services in aged care and client’s home. She specialises in nutrition in the elderly, with over 7 years of experience.
Janice has a special interest in combining acupuncture and nutrition in improving client’s health, and empowering them to make healthier choices for their own health and wellbeing. And supporting them through the journey. Areas of interest: in women’s health, gastrointestinal conditions and weight management.
Outside of work, she enjoys weight training at a gym, going for walks and baking.
She is fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.

Vivianne van Gaal 

Myotherapist | Remedial massage therapist

Adv Dip RM (Myotherapy)

Vivianne is a holistic Myotherapist and Remedial Massage Therapist who uses a range of treatment options such as massage, myofascial release, dry needling, trigger point therapy and stretching to treat a variety of conditions. Vivianne has a particular interest in treating chronic pain and using massage for anxiety management.

In her spare time Vivianne enjoys running, gym, cooking and skiing. A recent highlight was skiing in Canada, and completing the Melbourne half marathon. With over 30 years experience in health and fitness, your time spent will be therapeutic and beneficial. 

Vivianne is a registered Myotherapist and Remedial Massage Therapist under Massage and Myotherapy Australia, as well as a Nutritionist registered with Nutrition Australia.

Vivianne treats a variety of conditions such as:
